Thumbnail Zoom Plus 3.5beta1 fixes OSX transparency, etc.

I’ve released version 3.5beta1 with these changes since 3.4:

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixes problem on OS X Yosemite with the pop-up’s transparency in Firefox 38 and newer.  Caused the pop-up to appear too dark.
  • Fixes image rotation; now obeys JPEG EXIF image rotation info.

Site changes:

  • added familyhandyman.com
  • fixed error indicator on certain wikipedia.com links.

Do you think to make an opera extension? If not which one will you recommend for opera?

Sorry, I’m not planning to port Thumbnail Zoom Plus to Opera. I haven’t tried this on Opera, but take a look at Imagus.

how could we save images and *.swf specifically using hot-keys because some cites uses restriction to right-click.

You can press the “s” key while a pop-up is displayed to save the image.

It won’t work for *.swf though. Another option is to disallow web sites from affecting the right-click menu by going to about:config and setting dom.event.contextmenu.enabled to false. But that will prevent sites like docs.google.com from showing their useful right-click menus.
