Version 3.0 is now officially released! It should auto-update for you, or install it from here.

Changes since 2.7:

  • New or improved site support including:
    • deviantart.com
    • facebook.com
    • flickr.com
    • gfycat.com
    • imgur.com
    • netflix.com
    • okcupid.com
    • patch.com
    • photobucket.com
    • play.google.com
    • webm.land
  • New Disabled Sites dialog (blacklist):
TZP 3.0 Prefs - Disabled Sites
  • imgur.com albums can now be viewed in Thumbnail Zoom Plus.
    • When viewing a popup for an imgur gallery, press the right/left arrow keys (or ‘[‘ and ‘]‘ bracket keys) to view the next or previous image in the gallery.
    • Imgur galleries are indicated by a green border around the pop-up (if the “Show Border” Thumbnail Zoom Plus preference is on).  The first image in the gallery has a light green border; other images have a dark green border.
    • If “Show caption” is enabled in Thumbnail Zoom Plus preferences, the caption will show the image number, such as “3 of 7“.
  • Added support for WebM movies in pop-ups.

gfycat.com breaks the new version. If a gfycat video is popped up, no other images will popup. It shows the liitle waiting icon when I hover over a link, but the image never shows. I have to restart Firefox to fix the problem.

I tried adding gfycat.com to the blacklist, but that doesn’t work either,

3.0 is pretty useless to me with this bug. Is there anyway to get 2.4.2 back?

Thumbnail Zoom 3.0 proper still not working on Facebook using Firefox 32.0.2. Neither did the prior beta versions. It’s been a week or maybe two since it quit working.

Turning off my ad blocker has no effect.
Cleared cache with CCleaner to no effect.

    Works fine on Chrome.

    Ideas?

That’s odd; it’s working for me and several others replied that it’s fixed for them. Does it work on sites other than Facebook? And it doesn’t work for any Facebook pics at all? Make sure the “Facebook” checkbox is on in Thumbnail Zoom Plus preferences.
