Thumbnail Zoom Plus bug fix release 2.4rc3

January 16, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

I’ve released Version 2.4rc3, which fixes a couple important bugs and adds some small features.  This is a release candidate for the upcoming 2.4 release.  You can install it from the add-on’s Versions page.

Note: some less serious issues remain in Firefox 20 and newer; I suspect it’s a Firefox bug but continue to investigate.

Bug Fixes (these are also in version 2.3.2):

  • Fixes a problem with “Save Enlarged Image As” in Firefox 19 and newer (current default Release version of Firefox).
  • Fixes a problem where pop-up stop appearing in Firefox 20 and newer (current Aurora and Nightly versions of Firefox).
  • Fixes a problem in Firefox 20 and newer (current Aurora and Nightly) which caused the wrong image to appear or the right image with the wrong size.

Other changes:

  • now supports picsarus.com image links
  • twitter.com: prevents pop-up on login screen’s background.

Do I have to do anything (click on anything) to update the Thumbnail Zoom Plus with the fix you describe? In other words, because I have it, will it update itself as many other programs do?

Your add on is great the only annoying thing about it is that i cannot block it from certain sites without disabling it from all sites not included in that extremely limiting list of sites, all i get is “others”. I find the pre-made list of sites very limiting and i only wished that it was more customizable.

Yes, that request is on the official wish-list.

Just tried outlook.com today and the sprites from all the buttons are being zoomed, can you check it out?
