Thumbnail Zoom Plus 2.0.0beta4 Released

Version 2.0.0beta4 has been released.

New Features since 2.0.0beta3:

  • Added tooltip for preference “Scrolling triggers pop-up”
  • Added “Debug” checkbox and “Copy Log” button in Preferences.  These help you send information to the developer if there is a problem.

  • The “Wikipedia” checkbox now supports not just wikipedia.com, but most other sites which use the mediawiki framework.
  • Now supports sites using the tw-galerie and piwigo frameworks.

Hi David! Just stopped by to say Thanks much. TZP is my favorite “fun” Firefox addon. Keep up the good work. 😉

Not working on Facebook again, think they must have changed something 😦

Facebook is still working for me, but they roll site changes out to different users at different times. Could you help me figure out what the problem is?

Which kind of page and image is it not working on (eg a profile in timeline format or traditional format, your wall, a photo album, etc.)?

If you’re running 2.0.0beta4, go to Thumbnail Zoom Plus’s Preferences and turn on the “Debug” checkbox.

Then hover over some of the Facebook images which aren’t working. Then in Preferences click “Copy Log”. That’ll copy debug info into the clipboard. Then paste it into an email to me at firefox.add.on@davidadler.name .

Note that this contains the some web addresses; you can read the pasted text to make sure there’s nothing sensitive in it. The last 10 or so lines are the most important for debugging.

Hi David, sorry to mess you about, i just went in to the options to set the debug log & noticed that the tick was missing from the “Enable” checkbox, i put the tick in and its working ok, but the strange thing is that i never took the tick out in the first place!, not unless installing 2.0.0 beta 4 did this??

Clicking on the TZP toolbar button (rather than the pull-down menu to the right of it) would toggle “Enable”; perhaps you did that by accident?
